Tested with 7.3.Works fine. So when backupsuite can be updated with this change: https://github.com/O...13979c1d3d12121  it works fine again.

Just remember this day as probably Backup Suite won't work with next Zgemma update again, they have a background of breaking things but still I prefer them over a company that won't even bother change something like Vu+ ;)

That commit isn't in the master branch?

Also, what do you want VU+ to change?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

master branch is fine, I just rebased it ;)

I got reports about blindscan requests, FEC requests and all with no answer from Vu+ but personally I don't care they lost so much of their market in my country.

Just repaired a Xarius Galaxy 4K UHD... Tried BackupSuite from OpenPli 7.3 Feed. Installed fine, but backup was NOT succesful. Kernel (8192 bytes??) could not be extracted/written.... Any update for this machine? Like to offer a backup on USB after repair. People tend to fool-around and crash the box....

I have tried that, does not work. Produces the same error. Fix seems to be only the detection of the box name.. The name however is/was detected properly...

With the new PLI image you do not have to replace the file anymore. Problem solved.
