unfortunately this team that gave me this image based on pli9 , doesn't have much in the feeds.
so I used an ipk that is found on the various panels..
I added 2 files (overwrite existing file)

/usr/sbin/mkfs.ubifs
/usr/sbin/ubinize

finally work on h8.2h

thanks @WanWizard for your support

Thank you it works perfectly.... :thumbs-up:  :thumbs-up:

I have it this Zgemma H2H. How it solved? Where did you download it from "nanddump openPLi 8.3"?

Hi. Ubinize and mkfs.ubifs are part of a ready-made package of various and multiple tools for working with UBI FS. You probably didn't have it installed... don't know why:

opkg update
opkg install mtd-utils-ubifs

Probably the installation package you used, used for firmware backups, does not contain a note for the requirement to install this package - probably these missing dependencies are not added there - the need to also install the "mtd-utils-ubifs" package.

And this package is also included in the OpenPLi 9 feed (2024-oct-05):

Backupsuite doesn't work on Xtrend ET10000, develop image.

You have to unplug receiver because 30 minutes after starting Full back-up on HDD it's still creating kerneldump..........................

More than two years later and I come across this same issue.

I used Automatic Full Backup until march 2024 to create a backup every night, so that in a event something goes wrong I can go back one day when everything was working.

At the moment I have been trying to make a full backup with the automatic full backup plugin and with the Backupsuite plugin.
Tried it on two different USB-sticks and on a Sata-SSD, which I build in this week and was completely initialised after that.

All attempts failed and the receiver stops at creating kerneldump.
Sometime I even had to power off the ET10000 to get it working again.

I have had the plugins removed and (separately) installed them again.

I waited longer than half an hour, once I even kept it running the whole night.

Is there a way to see in a log what's wrong?
Are there other ways to make a full backup?

hi Domitrij,

Thank you my friend for replying to me. Can you please tell me what I should do to resolve it this problem with backupsuite? I'm using release 9.0 version of openpli but it doesn't work with my zgemma h5.2.plus.. release 8.3 works very well. if you can please find me a solution. thanks a lot to everyone :thumbs-up:

Copy /usr/sbin/nanddump 8.3 --->9.0

I still don't understand.
I am sorry I am not that good in understanding it with just one line without explanation, and I am very sorry that I ask for you help.
I already have OpenPLi 9.1 (probably unnoticed changed from 9.0 to 9.1 when I did an update), but I want to change to develop version.
So if I already have 9.1 how can I copy anything from 8.3 ?
