Sure ;)

Look at changes in lib/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/SoftwareManager/ImageBackup.py

But does that also include restoring (OGWrite)?

No. But I'm working on it. Currently it looks quite good, that I can add solo4k support as I'm able to umount root filesystem from my tool. But don't expect new version in the next days. Perhaps end of the year.

By the way: The name of my tool is ofgwrite ;)

Could someone test the enclosed script for the Solo 4K
It is a very early script only to test if the backup is made in the proper way.

The script has to be rewritten complete but that's something for the Christmas holidays, first I'm interested if I'm on the right track.

The script enclosed in backupsuite.rar can be unpacked and copied to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/

Or use the complete enclosed plugin

I think it's correct. On the display the kernel partition size is shown. Kernel itself is smaller. It flash of backup works, then everything should be ok.

Indeed, the reported "Kernel size to be backupped" is the complete size of the partition where the kernel is placed.
However not the whole partition is used. Only the used partion is used in the back-up

i flashed back backup taken by ur plugin version git77 & git85 for openpli4 & other images , but not fully booting & starts , in fact it stays on initial splash screen without farther progression to start the image , when i flashed ur old version git66 , i noticed the whole correct partion size 7168mb is created & backuped & image with git66 do full booting & strart working with no initial booting issue , so i came with conclusion that the actual kernal size in git77 & git 85 is not been fully backuped thats why image doesnt fully boots & stuck/stop on initial booting splash screen

Try tomorrows version and check again please. I reverted the truncation of the kernelpartition.
Or try enclosed script

edit: I removed the complete plugin in post 525

Did you try the latest version and if so what was the result?

Since today the Xsarius Fusion HD is supported, this is however not fully tested at the moment because of the lack of testing material. Fusion HD owners please feel free to test and report the outcome.

Owners (PLi developers?) of a Fusion HD SE could you report the outcome of the command

cat /proc/stb/info/hwmodel
Also removed the partial support for non supported receivers
I'll post the outcome tomorrow.

Yes, use ofgwrite.
ofgwrite <path to unzipped image files>

Dreamboxes are not supported and also at the moment solo4k.

Hello Pedro,
Be so kind as to make this your very useful plugin compatible decoder "EVO Enfinity X2Plus".

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year
