Thanks for the information. The Automatic Full Backup isn't my plugin but it is made by Dimitrij. I think none of the recent added receivers is supported yet by the AFB.

Hi Pedro,

Got this error on my Solo 4K with your git91 version with todays OpenPli initial release.

TEAM, MANY THANKS FOR THIS AND ALL YOUR PREVIOUS WORK, ALWAYS WELL DONE!

Pedro, do you have an idea for a fix?

PS: Thanks for this great tool, is always the first I install to avoid frustration during trial period.... :-)

@findex
Could you unpack enclosed script and place it in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/
overwriting the existing script backupsuite.sh
and try again?

The system is saying it is read only, please try another USB-stick.
I don't know why it is reporting as read-only but you're capable of timeshifting etc.

Thanks to you for your plugin.

There is another thing i need to know when i choose the backup to restore against a bugged or test image: enigma version (date).

If i know the date bug, i can choose a bug-free enigma backup. So I would write enigma version too, onto the imageversion file.

A little more change to backupsuite.sh and plugin.py to get this info:

Attached File  4.jpg   50.48KB   6 downloads

If you want this feature too, this is the complete patch:

Attached File  delete-backups3.patch   9.93KB   4 downloads

But remember, delete old backups and backup info features are not compatible with old backups, because of new path for the 2 files backupsuite writes.

For old backups users should move that files to the parent main backup dir.....

Could you try this command in telnet because I have no problems, just copy & paste this code in telnet and please try again

dos2unix /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/backupsuite.sh && chmod 755 /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/backupsuite.sh

Thanks again, I added it to the plugin, the next release it will be available.

But first I want to repair the Solo4k part.
It can take some time because I can't test or investigate the structure because I've no Solo4k to test with.

Please try this script as a workaround until I know how the structure is. It now reports a kernelsize of 003EDFD0 Hex or 4.120.528 dec.

Unpack the script and use the command
dos2unix /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/backupsuite.sh && chmod 755 /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/backupsuite.sh
when necessary.

Sorry it is a bit trial and error with the cosmetics

There is a logfile in /tmp/ could you upload it, the name is BackupSuite.log

There is still a lot work to do I see, first you could install bzip2 with the command
opkg install bzip2
I will post tonight a new version (I hope)
