Hi, i would be grateful for some help as i don't know what i can do to resolve the issue i am having with the backupsuite.
I tried to back up my latest image but i wasn't able to because it brought up an error message which i have not seen before.
I tried it many times with different skins in case they made a difference but still the same problem. I love using this plugin so i want to resolve this if possible and would appreciate your help or advice. I also tried backing up my image with the built in image back up option that my image has in the image itself and it was successful in creating the back up.
The other big problem for us is that we are unable to use KodiLite or iptvplayer now. KodiLite always results in a reboot of the receiver (Xtrend 9200) with 'cannot allocate memory' or something similar and the iptvplayer tells us that the hdd/media has no space.
We have a 500GB HDD so if from what we assume we no longer have any memory to be able to use these plugins what is our best option to enable us to do so please?
Aside from our backups images we have 5 HD movies stored on the HDD.
We would be very happy for any advise please so we can use the backupsuite for our backup images and use our plugins also.

You try to create a backup on the USB device /media/usb where there is only 380 KB of free space.
This will of course never works.
Plug an empty USB stick with a decent size and try to perform backup.
But are you using some sort of "flash expander"? Because BackupSuite warms you that even if the backup works you won't be able to restore it because it is too big to be properly handled by the bootloader.

If you got this error:
cat: can't open '/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/chosen/kerneldev': No such file or directory
It means Backup Suite couldn't detect "/dev/mtd# or /dev/mmcblk0p#" of your kernel and you need to tell us your machine name so we could add it to manual detection.

Backupsuite does work on the Zgemma H9T when making a backup, although the layout of the backup is totally different from it's original.
So I tried to flash it (restore backup) with the backupsuite plugin itself but that doesn't work.
You get a message that enigma2 will be stopped, then you wait some minutes and the box restarts itself so you think the backup is flashed but in in fact nothing happened !

That fix is only for the Sumo feature-branch, not relevant on current images.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

1. backupsuite works just fine on H7. Install from applications menu inside OpenPLI.
2. shouting things like 'stupid answer' will not really encourage a hobbyist to help you.
Sorry, it was "stupid question"
I installed backupsuite from plugin/download plugin but when I try to backup a message tell me that can't find any compatible receiver....
