Hello,

I'd like to update Finnish language translation but why is the OpenPLi fi.po file based on an old Enigma translation? There are many changes made to the Engima2 translation after that. So what is the correct way to update OpenPLi's Finnish translation? Is OpenPli using just regular enigma.mo mixed with it's own strings or is the file somewhere else?

Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

Please check the openpli enigma2 sourceforge reporsitory for the latest .po files.

Is that the correct place? There fi.po seem to be PO-Revision-Date: 2011-08-07.

OpenPLi language files are not same as dmm's language files...

So what are they? OpenPLi just took DMM files from last summer and now uses those as a base with own additional strings? So the files are not synced (and will never be synced) with new DMM translations? What about plugin translations (that are part of DMM's .po file) ?

Geesh, why not give the man straight answers and direct link to what he is looking for, after all he is wanting to contribute (to continue his earlier translation work with the finnish language file).

All for plugins, enigma is there on git repository: http://openpli.git.s...itweb-index.cgi ( all is visible from Home page on this pages ... under SourceForge ...).

About DMM vs Pli ... in OpenPLi are diferences between DMM. And as you can see, DMM made sources as closed => never will be same language files for Pli and DMM more.

I have attached an updated Finnish language translation. The zip file contains fi.po and also enigma2.mo file if someone from Finland likes to try it. (just copy it to usr/share/enigma2/po/fi/LC_MESSAGES and replace the old enigma2.mo file)

Please update OpenPLi git with the po file.

Here is another update for Finnish translation. It contains better translations, typo fixes and removal of Dreambox references. Zip contains fi.po and enigma2.mo.

Please update OpenPLi git with the po file.

There's a strange string, named "Letzeburgesch". It should be English untranslated, I found it in hu.po.
What does it mean?

It's the language in Luxembourg, and it means "Luxembourgish". ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
