this its the romanian translations

you posted the binary version of the language file. We cannot add that to th distribution as it is generated from the ro.po file.
Please post the ro.po file if you made updates to it.
Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

iuliany, we appreciate your efforts but unfortunately your translations are based on a very old base file (from 2009). Many strings have been added and deleted since then.
Please take a more recent base file (take the ro.po from the openpli distribution on sourceforge) to do your translations.

Guys, if I add a new string translation to the .po file, which was not originally inthere, will it be deleted by any update mechanism on the source code server?
Like this:
msgid "HDMI CEC setup"
msgstr "HDMI CEC beállítások"

most probably unless it really is a new message in the source that has not yet be added to the language files.
The language files are regularly updated from the source (ehhr should be... this is not yet formalised) so best is to check
if the .po files on sourceforge are recent enough. If not you could ask us to update them (or update them on them on your local
copy of the soruce tree if you know how to do that) so you can add your translations.

I just pushed a new set of .po files so now you can check if your string is in there and can be translated.
If it is not in there the string may be from a plugin or is a combination of other strings.

What do you mean? Are we all perfect???

I did not see any update requests for the enigma2 tree since may 5th in this thread.
Sorry if I missed something...

If this means you have to redo some work then I have more than enough reasons myself to complain. I guess all developpers had to redo work many many times because of this informal way of working together. Distributed version control does not fix everything you know.

OK, thanks, I'll start updating the Hungarian language.

Please give me the exact official location to get the latest .po files from, and where to upload the updates.

I see now that most plugin translations are missing from the main .po file. Where to put now the plugin translations?

I have also separate .po files for many plugins, where to upload them? Can OpenPLi server bundle them?
And also, where to get the latest .po's for the plugins?

And also, where to get the latest .po's for the plugins?

Asking again, is this the right place to look for plugin translation bases?
http://openpli.git.s...;a=tree;hb=HEAD
Are they freshly pushed containing all the latest strings?

Can you please advise, within that link, where exactly are the plugin translation .po's?

as mirakles wrote: "See the po directory on [link]"
And by the way: that po's contain only some of the plugin translations - for that plugins which are fully integrated in the image.

For translating some other plugins you can use the link you've given or you can ask the plugin author (the plugins on the 3rd-party-feed are not the newest one in all cases) - but some plugins don't support multi-language-interface...

That's not true unfortunately. For example the NetworkBrowser plugin is fully integrated in the image (comes installed by default after flashing on both my DM800 and ET6000), however, the strings belonging to it were removed from the main .po file.
That's why I was asking, If I add those strings to the main .po again, will they be removed later when a central source code update will be done. And the answer was: yes.
In that case, I'd like to get "official" information from the OpenPLi team, where to get the latest strings for the plugins from (especially for the ones integrated / installed by default), and where to upload them, will they be ever pushed, and where.

I'm not sure, that the link I found is the true one.
