pieterg,

The file (enigma2.mo) from last image (OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20121122.zip) is 100%, but not change the words...

See the picture (click to see ful version by postimage.org):

two reasons;
1. you still have quite a few 'fuzzy' translations in the pt_BR.po (which are ignored)
2. python does not seem to use /usr/share/enigma2/po/pt_BR in all cases, in some situations it uses /usr/share/enigma2/po/pt instead.
When I copy your enigma2.mo from /usr/share/enigma2/po/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES to /usr/share/enigma2/po/pt/LC_MESSAGES, and restart e2, all those configuration descriptions are now translated.
3. /usr/lib/locale/pt_BR/LC_TIME is currently missing, so the day/month names will not be translated (or perhaps a fallback to /usr/lib/local/pt/LC_TIME is used)

We need to investigate problem nr 2., and fix 3.
You should fix 1.

The problem lies in the fact that the new file 100% translated by Frank still was not added to the feed, please do it for us Pieter!

http://openpli.org/f...attach_id=50138

pieterg, please update the file (pt_BR).

Today I translated all missing words(100% translated and revised - changed some wrong words).

Thanks

Frank

Yes but, the previous file had only 50% translated, this is 100% which in theory would solve the step number 1 "1. you still have quite a few fuzzy translations in the pt_BR.po (Which are ignored)".
Because this file 100%, has not yet been added, as if to make sure the sentence is translated in the previous file?

I see the old file the sentence
msgid "Hide channel list in radio mode"
msgstr ""

no value given in Portuguese of Brazil!
Only considerations can be made after being placed in the repository that last file 100% translated!

Sorry for english!

In the old translation .po file, http://sourceforge.n...pli-git-commits

For the Brazilian translator to follow hunting mistakes that need new translation is added, considering that the former is with many English words as you said to me earlier that the translation pt-br is outdated!

50% of the feed Pt_br is out of date, you need to put the new translation by Frank is already 100%

You used the date 19/11 and warned that it was incomplete! The next day Frank has done a new file all updated! date 20/11.

Follow the link only observe that files are dieferentes!

http://openpli.org/f...attach_id=50138

The confusing is in the fact that from one day to the other he edited the file all over again!

If you look at sourceforge will see the day that you included the file was in 19, but the right file Frank just released on the 20th!

Sorry my mistake of fact, the error is on

2nd. python does not seem to use / usr/share/enigma2/po/pt_BR in all cases, in some situações it uses / usr/share/enigma2/po/pt instead.
When I copy from your enigma2.mo / usr/share/enigma2/po/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES to / usr/share/enigma2/po/pt/LC_MESSAGES, and restart e2, All Those configuration descriptions are now translated.
3rd. / usr / lib / locale / en_US / LC_TIME is currently missing, so the day / month names will not be translated (or Perhaps a fallback to / usr / lib / site / en / LC_TIME is used)

For more pt_br that we select, the image remains using the Portuguese of Portugal!

How to fix the nº 1 (1. you still have quite a few 'fuzzy' translations in the pt_BR.po (which are ignored))? Where I see?

LC_TIME from pt is the same pt_BR (all same words): segunda, terça, quarta, outubro, novembro, dezembro, minutos, segundos, etc...

Thank you.

poedit will show the fuzzy entries in a different color.
In the pofile, you can recognise them as well:

#, fuzzy
msgid "Hide player"
msgstr "Esconder reprodutor"

When i was removing those fuzzy flags, i noticed that some translations were wrong, so just removing flags is not enough. YOu also need to check actual translation. It may be wrong ...
