Thanks to pieterg for putting the previous changes to repository, it's now easier to look from the set-top box which parts still need improvement. I did not load todays changes from repository, as I have been working with these changes for four days.
Here is the next set (ALL translated, 70 fuzzy and 96% completeness). Once these have been committed I'll download from repository again and continue with the remaining fuzzy translations (and the new ones...) next week.

Thans again. Here is now the 100% checked file, ready for repository. Some improvements might still be needed, but I'll have to see these translations in use first in order to fix those for better ones...

You can check them by placing the mo file (created by poedit, when you save the po file) on your stb.
That would avoid having to commit intermediate results. I'd rather just commit the final result ;)

Yep, thanks. I think this is final translation (for now). There is something strange in current image, as some of the
translations are not shown (english string instead...).

My pt_BR.po don't have (Serviceinfo not 'Service info'

this is a skin issue.
The reason is that the skin.xml contains eLabels, and the po file will of course not be generated from the (external) skin xml, so those eLabels will not be translated.
This should be fixed; skins should NOT use eLabels, instead they should use widgets, which are filled from the e2 sourcecode (so they can be translated).
If skin makers feel they need to use an eLabel (because they want to add a widget title for instance, where this title is not available) what they should do instead, is request a new widget to be added in e2.
This will allow translations to work.

The line seems to wrap (because the message is too long, or the skin widget is too small)
Looking at the empty space around the message, I think the widget could just be stretched, to avoid this issue.
You might ask Littlesat (in one of the PLi-HD skin threads) to have a look at this.

@BoxFreak and thelexia,

I removed the wrapping from your po files, by opening/closing them in my 'old' poedit version.
In the future, could you please use a poedit (or similar tool) version which does not wrap the messages? Thx.

I used Poedit version 1.5.4 for the last translation (and 1.5.3 for previous ones) Is there an problem with it and it should not be used?
Thnx for correcting the file and sorry for causing the extra work...

well, the problem is that older poedits (<1.5) do not use wrapping, newer poedits (1.5) use line wrapping (and the latest poedit (1.6) allows you to manually enable/disable wrapping).
So we're getting all kinds of pofiles, with wrapping and without.
So far, most pofiles we received from translators do not have wrapping, so we decided to use that as a default.
However, since we made that the default, it seems that more and more translators are using poedit 1.5, so we get pofiles with wrapping again.

There's no easy solution. We'll probably change the default to use wrapping again, at some stage (when everybody has access to 1.5, or better, 1.6).
But unfortunately till then (and even after we've done that, I'm afraid), we'll still get both wrapped and unwrapped pofiles, so we need to manually check and convert them.

Can you provide a link to POEDIT 1.6? The latest version I can find is 1.5.

Hm, they're still bringing out 1.5 releases, so probably no 1.6 soon.
And I might have misread a potool/poedit commit, adding an option to preserve line wrapping.
(confusing, two projects with the same function, claiming the same name)

Bottom line, the wrapping issues are going to stay with us for a while.

Piter on the pt_BR translation, I use a plugin called valerie project!
It happens that I made a translation for it, however the translation goes like this:
You choose the language in PLI valerie project and automatically identifies and uses the language also in the plugin.
It occurs that the PLI still references the language pt_BR for the Portuguese of Portugal, and so the project valerie is in Portuguese of Portugal!
What can it be?

external plugins have their own pofiles, they don't use the enigma2 pofile.

This Choice Box always appears in english, in pt_BR translation.
Some times appear in portuguese of brasil, some times (most of the time) in english.

WHY?
