The correct word to update is "merge"? Menu subtites appear new sentences.

Many thanks for committing the new .mo file!You've modified some msgid's as well, you should not do that (as future merges might mess with your translations)
But I've just committed your file for now.
msgid's might be modified by mistake...sorry for that it was not my intention, but so far it is working OK. If we experience problems later i can try to fix them.

here follows the updated Brazilian Portuguese translation.
I've revised almost every msgstr, fixing some machine-made translations and remaining sentences from Portugal Portuguese. Also fixed some text in order to try to add some sense and professional feeling when viewed in the interface.
I hope you can use it this time.

For the latest git commits there are no translations and they are not included in the po file. How do I get a po file with latest not translated strings?
Xtrend ET-9200, ET-8000, ET-10000, OpenPliPC on Ubuntu 12.04

The po files have to be re-generated, in order to get all the latest messages.
However, I'm not doing that, because I don't have the time to handle the numerous translation updates which would certainly follow.

Hi @pieterg,
here follows our latest update for Brazilian Portuguese translation.
We are looking forward for the updated catalog. Hope you find some time to make it available for us in a near future. 
I hope in the next catalog version we will be able to internationalize at least the all the menu strings [e.g., at the network configuration most of the menu items aren't using the _(" ") function.
