CT = Clark Tech (I assume) = ET9000...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes, this box is OK with OpenPli (this one : http://openpli.org/download/et9x00/ )
I'va said CT9000 but it's a ET9x00 (CT for Clarke Tech as say by WanWzard)
So, I hope the iptv will work soon... It's a very good think when we have TV with our ISP...

What do you mean with IPtv? [ just streams? ]

But on the nerwork someone are in HD quality and not by satellite (in HD)...
So, with the openpli 2.0, the iptv work good but now with the 3.0 beta, nothing (snif, snif)

Hi again,
I have tested OpenPli and other openPli based images (merlin, mediasat) that run oe2.0.
Now, I have a dm800hd original, and I only use it to watch iptv (streams), I don't have an antenna.
My problem is that watching a single stream for a log time (say an hour) without changeing the channel, the box freezes, and the spinner is shown. I can't do anything, not even reboot it via DCC.
I either have to wait for it to restart automaticly after 10-15 min, or unplug it from the power.
Why is this happeneing? is this a oe2.0 issue or image-issue? or perhaps box issue?
I do not have any other plugins installed, no timers, I have tested this straight after flashing.
Is there a way to enable debugging to know what is happening while the spinner is shown?
The ony image, that I have tested that that does not have this problem is mediasat3.0 which is oe1.6 based...

OpenPLi 3.0 has problems with direct streaming multicast IPTV udp streams!
OpenPLi 2.1 works fine with Bouquets line like
#SERVICE 4097:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:udp%3a//239.3.1.1%3a1234/:ETV
and also with MediaPlayer .m3u list line
#EXTINF:0,ETV
udp://@239.3.1.1:1234
OpenPLi 3.0, shows only a black screen.

We possibly can consider to revert to the previous gstreamer version... I do not have any clue of the disadvantages??? (that also might be there)

Yes, old gstreamer works with OpenPLi3.0!
copy gstreamer_0.10.35-r0_mipsel.ipk to /tmp
init 4
opkg --force-depends remove gstreamer*
opkg install /tmp/*
init 3

Try to add buffer=1 at the end of the URL.... probably it might help.

I've tried the 2.1 yesterday afertnoon which works fine without the buffer thing
Scanning 11 satellites takes quite a long time so ... I'll give it a try tomorow ... or the day after ... but i'll tell you the result asap.
