It happened already twice this week. It seems that sometimes when the power line gets down (it happens a lot in my area :D ) the cccam (which is the default and only cam installed) does not automatically start anymore when the dreambox starts, even if i repeatedly reboot the box, or i reinstall cccam. If i start it manually in telnet, it works, until the next reboot. What can i do to repair this problem ? Until now i had to reinstall the whole image so that it comes back to normal.
thank you !

Did you set CCcam as your 'Default SoftCam' in blue -> softcam setup?

...of course i did !! I reinstalled cccam completely and started and restarted the cccam a few times. And still if i reboot the dream, the cccam just isn't started automatically ! It works just manually.

The config file seems tobe fine.
You say you start ccam manually from telnet after a boot.
Could you try restrating it from the softcam setup screen after a reboot. See if that works.

Can you enable debug logging for plimgr and enigma in Debug settings in PLi Setup (blue button) record a log and post the logs here when the error occurs?

The contents of the plimgr.conf file is identical to the one above. The complete logs are to be found *here.*

I read the following in your log:

default emu
emuname to enigma:len=13 =CCcam 1.3.1
=CCcam 1.3.1
=
sh: /var/etc/plimgr/scripts/emusrv: not found

Especially the last line, the default script needed to start / stop a softcam is missing on your system and therefore CCcam is not started. You can copy the default from the image back from /var_init/etc/plimgr/scripts
When you have done that I am confident that it works ;-)

I see rqcamd needs two key-files which are default not present in the image. I don't have the keyfiles right now, but we could try if rqcamd also works with empty files. Type this in telnet:

touch /var/keys/Autoupdate.Key
touch /var/keys/Keylist.txt

And restart the cam again.

@shoeboy
By the way... I thought you were using CCcam, but in the logging I see you use rqcamd.

Yeah before I was just testing it with fta channel's but then I switched to rqcamd and now opencam. Still the same problem though. I've started a new thread (http://www.pli-image...&thread_id=2244) because my issue is a little different.

I had the same problem since yesterday. Also this file was missing from the DM7000. Very strange that this file can just dissapeer.

Any clues?

FTP the file from the DM500 to the DM7000 and CCcam started to work again.
