I dont know what is the problem. I can play mp4 files but when i press pause and than play it wont start playing. Then i must start movie from the begining. Same problem is when i try fast forward...

Start playing and try to jump back (press 1) and jump forward (press 3) . It will help you start playing from your last position. It is working for me always.

Hi, I found a mad result of date sorting .

1. The recordings in my /hdd/movie directory. The picture shows the result when the date sorting is selected .

The same result is in official firmware with date sorting.
Is it possible to fix this sorting to correct one ?

3. The default skin does not show information from ecm.info. Is it correct ? I am using pli hd m mod , but I prefer default one. How can I switch on ecm info in default skin ?

unfortunately does not work for me. Is this problem with play/pause mp4 files only on openpli images or also on other e2 images?

I fixed this errory by:

root@dm800se:/boot# mount -t jffs2 mtd:'boot partition' /boot
 

After that:

root@dm800se:/boot# opkg upgrade

I rebooted a dreambox and everything is all right

Hi,
I have a VU+DUO and I have been using OpenPli Images but lately this images give me a lot of problems.
Yesterday I installed the last 3.0 version and it get worst...
It blocks many times by itself and when I reboot using the back button it shows a message:

" The file TIMER (TIMERS.XML) is corrupted and can not be loaded"
and all the scheduled recording programes inside the TIMER are erased.

This is very inconveniente and it grates on my nerves...
Please someone help!!!

For normal use, I use the remote control to swich on and off.

Before go to sleep I also use the Sleep Timer function (long power button press).

When it blocks I use the back button to reboot.

Okay, that's fine. But it looks like your flash is corrupted. This usually happens from turning the receiver off by the power button. It will get worse and worse over time. There is a remedy, do a flash with a clean image file and then try to avoid power cycling.

By power button you mean the power button of the remote?

The flash clean image can be done by USB or by NFI?

I dont' clearly understand what you mean by "power  cycling"?

Power Cycling is turning the power off by in the case of the VU Duo the switch on the rear of the Box or unplugging it from the mains socket with out first powering it down via the remote control. Removing the power without shutting down the system runs the risk of corrupting the memory of the box.

However, when it blocks completelly it doen't respond to the comands of the remote, so the only solution I know is turn off and on the bacck button to reboot the system.

I never unplug the cable from the main  socket.

is this true, the openweb interface in openpli is not supporting the mobiles ? I tried to define the timer from my samsung galaxy / android over build in web explorer.

Very hard to open correct window, when opened not possible to change the time in the timer. I spent an hour without success. Finaly I defined the timer on second dram with newnigma and tandard web interface.

This second is working fast and without any problem.
