Ik wilde op mijn server oscam versie 1.0 5365 updaten naar de nieuwste versie.
Echter krijg ik als foutmelding het volgende:

/usr/local/bin/oscam: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by /usr/local/bin/oscam)
/usr/local/bin/oscam: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by /usr/local/bin/oscam)

Ik heb op google gezocht en van alles geprobeerd maar de foutmelding blijft bestaan. Ik draai laatste versie van linux mint gebaseerd op ubuntu x64.

Dat is typisch een probleem met "voorgecompileerde" programma's, kans op incompatibiliteiten tussen shared libraries. Het beste kun je programma's of uit de repo van distributie halen en als dat niet kan, zelf compileren.

Het is engels maar wellicht kun je hierdoor voortaan zelf oscam compileren:

Dat was idd het euvel. Zelf gecompiled en werkt als een tierelier

I haven't seen that this topic should be in English. My question was about getting an error while running a newer version of oscam.

Erik Slagter and theparasol have indicated that I shouldn't use a precompiled version that can be downloaded from the web but I should compile oscam by myself.

I have done that and it solved the trick. The Howto I used is in the post of theparasol.
