i use process to decode of m3u8 streams before playing it but not for download,you can check menu button for containing streams when playing m3u8 but failed to download directly from player by using record button

A couple times I've actually added the m3u8 streams to the TSmedia bouquet and then recorded it while watching as if it was a normal tv channel, old school

My pleasure, m8! I think, long ago I did the same with TS Media and it worked, of course.

 

Mind, at some point I reported the issues with streaming UK channels, plus if one could have low and high resolution options before one starts streaming. Is that implemented now? Just curious...

if different resolutions supplied from the source,then should be no problem to do this with code, i will check this with UK channels

yes ,could be temporary solution until find solution within TSmedia

Hi, I've just updated to 11.6,now unable to play anything on YouTube, Error signature extraction failed. I tried going back to 11.5 but just the same.
I'm running a solo2, openpli 4, any ideas what's happening? cheers

Please is it possible you may look into why NaviXtreme addon which is in the iptv section is not updating?

This used to have new media files added each day and regular updates but nothing has been added or updated

for a while and prior to this the only additions were a constant supply of Thai dubbed movies and nothing

else unlike previously. Thank you very much.

do you have example for video with error signature failed,did you check video in the browser youtube?

TSmedia depends on youtube-dl for extracting direct stream url,i will check if there is update for it.

navixtreme is  connected directly to the source,i will see if something prevents updating.

Hey mfaraj57, ustvnow is broken again. It seems they made some api changes, but mhancoc7 already released an update yesterday. Whenever you can, will you take a look at it, so as to release an updated version for TSmedia as well? Thanks in advance.

Fixed it, I'm going to test it out later. The only updated file was ustvnow_plus.py in the libraries folder.

Just tested it real quick, but there are still some issues. After replacing the ustvnow_plus.py file and rebooting, now the addon does retrieve all the items (both live tv channels and recordings) while it would return an error last night. However, streams will not play returning an error instead, but I didn't have time to check the log file. I'll try and make more tests later today. Meanwhile, here's the updated .py file if you want to take a look at it. I don't know, it might just be an issue with login credentials on their side though as I had trouble logging in from Android too last night.

@mfaraj57 Just tried a few more things, but still none of the streams will play, here's a screenshot of the error in the log.

I guess it might need some work on your part to get it back up and running

just installed the new version of usatv ,live channels are ok but others gave error

the error above can be fixed by

change the line to 

channels = ustv.get_link(name,quality_type)

also noticed password and email erased by the plugin from settings.xml

i will try to fix tomorrow

fix for youtube not included in the package

typically last update with fix for youtube should be installed in background,however you can install from

TSmedia/desktop/tools/software update blue button

or from TSmedia/desktop/files/software_official/f040220171_11.6_update.zip

you need to restart enigma2 to take effect

That fixed live channels, thanks. However, recordings still were not working, so I followed your lead and looked inside mhancoc7's main.py file and noticed this also needed to be added to default.py to fix dvr as well:
ustv.get_dvr_link(scheduleid,rec_quality_type,recordings_quality)

Everything looks fine again now, I also upped the version to 14.4.9 both in addon.xml and the params file. If you want, I'll zip it all up and send it over to you tomorrow.

Here's what I got right now in my box. Main sections were all working last night (basically live channels and DVR). I think epg guide was not, but I don't think it was before either, but others were all ok. It's not like thery are all that important anyway, live and DVR are what really matter after all.
