You miss the point: the Solo2 has two single tuners, fixed on the motherboard. Those two single tuners make the box a twin tuner box. The Solo2 has no option for dual tuner(s).
But the DUO2 has 2 tuner slots, allowing (one or two) dual tuners (and/or DVB-C/T tuners), making it a triple (or even four) tuner box..
A dual tuner (card) is not the same as twin tuner box.

Not at all. I know exactly what it's all about. It's just that you refuse to admit you made an error, that's what this is about.

Sorry, to say, but then you hide your knowledge very well.

So again: the Solo2 has no dual tuner(s), the DUO2 has the option for one (or maybe even two) two dual tuner(s). So not sure what mistake I have made in saying that before.

ET9500 with software/drivers by far ahead/in front of VU, with hbbtv faster then VUsolo2.

Ehhh ?

I think you don't know what are you talking about.

I am a little bit surprised about the ignorance that you demostrated in this thread,

I understand that here someone want to push in all the ways Xtrend products, (it is clear from long time)

but to compare the performance of Solo2 with Et9500 is ridicolous.

The ET9500 is equipped with the old brcm 7413 used form long time in vu+ uno, ultimo and dmm latest boxes.

It is a 405 mhz cpu of the past broadcom generation with only 10/100 Mbps ethernet port.

http://www.satshop.t...-Sat-Receiver_4

The Solo2 is equipped with the new generation of broadcomm chipsets

We are talking about BCM7356 working at 2x1300 Ghz, with gigalan and 3d graphics engine capable to offer transcoding feature.

So please try to be a little bit objective, at least  about the hardware because it is not nice to suggest something with wrong informations.

...2x1300 Ghz...

That would make it the fastest machine on earth :)

Anyway, you meant 1300 MHz of course.

The only noticeable effect is that the box boots considerably faster. For most tasks, the CPU is only about 70% faster than the 400MHz that you find in the other boxes. Probably because the memory and cache are the same as on the older models. When I got a test example, I was convinced that the CPU ran at 700MHz because of the performance difference.

A 3D engine was already present on the dm7025, and it has never been used. And I doubt that they will ever pay Broadcom to be able to actually use it, so it'll remain an unused portion of the chip.

@Baccaciosat

Topicstarter asked for fast and  good receiver with Openpli and TNT tuner in it without issues

have you compared Openpli and hbbtv on solo2 and ET9500?

have you tried TNT tuner IN it ?

I agree the solo2 is theoratically  fast, its a ferrari with some flat tires in my opinion

Sorry i see only that you here are searching all arguments to look down VU+ products also when its superiority is evident.

I am disappointed about Pli. Once here i feels free and objective place.

That time has gone.

I would hapilly embrace VU+ if they would start doing some quality control on their drivers...

That is indeed an issue for them.... and we are not willing to create work-a-rounds to fix their driver issues.... and sorry they already should know what the issues are....

And to be honest, hardware-wise, I think the vuplus solo2 is awesome! But once again the driver support is disappointing.

Well, if you want to spend a lot of money for something that has mediocre functionality and can't be supported properly by third parties, well then, you might just want to go ahead and buy it ;)

Have in mind, there is logic.

DM see what innovation?
Hardware or what did you see?

Innovation PLI he put away.

Vuplus, Xtrend, XP100, and the problem is not small boxes of DM'd be doomed.

PLI shamelessly codes (innovations) closed steal codes.
They were saying, DM Open-source, easy to talk idly while Monopoly, is not it?

I think he meant that the other way around, because this way it doesn't make sense.
