Milo just added the needed changes for the VU+ Duo2 support.

If all goes well with our buildserver tonight it is likely we support the VU+ Duo2 from tomorrow.

We like to hear your experiences.

Wasn't it dependant from VU+ if PLI-team supports Duo² or not?

Does that mean that VU+ made the needed changes in their drivers, what PLI-team always asked for?

No, it was not related to drivers.

I was related to the patches needed to correctly build an image, and yes, VU+ supplied the required patches.

The quality (ahum) of the VU+ drivers unfortunately remains something to be desired...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Will there also be any benefits for the Solo2?

Or was all fixed by the OpenPLi-Team before?

I'm sorry, I just lost the clear view ...

No benefits for Solo2 because these patches are intended for Duo2. But there might be some benefits due to new drivers that should also be for Solo2.

What is going on with sourceforge? The commits for Duo2 do not show up in history view.

For openpli-oe-core I see only 4 branches in sourceforge web pages. master, gst-1.0, ubifs and upstream. upstream has the VU+ Duo2 etc commits. We should now use upstream?

Image hasn't been built yet on the build server. Maybe because the changes are made on upstream branch and haven't been synced with master branch?

Also no driver updates for Solo2 on feed (also applied on upstream).

Internally we're working on OpenPLi 4.

And given the fact that the Duo2 is a completely new platform, we're going to directly make a v4 image for it.

And that works now, but there are several things that still don't. We need to check why not, if we can fix it, if VU+ needs to do something, etc. And as long as it's not fully functional (enough), there's no point releasing it.

Hi everybody!
Just got my voodoo2. Had voodoo earlier with pli. Very pleased with that one until it "burned" up. Have waited for voodoo2 for almost a year until it was available.

Used 3 days to get it work with canal digital. Solution was a vti image with a cccam installed. Wifi not working and only tuner a.

I am waiting for pli to release the first image.

Is there a hint when that may happend?
And is there a beta image I may get to try?

Thanks for all the goog work with pli image.
