Then it must be something with the duo2 drivers, I can't test that, sorry.I confirm.

I can't find a channel C+ Action HD on 19.2E, there is a channel called "C+ Acción HD" which features ac3+ and that works on solo2.For example on C+ Action HD on Astra 19E.

Yep, using downmix AC+ works.
But then it's not AC3 anymore ......

The question was whether you could listen to it. And so, yes, you can. No channels without audio. Primary target fulfilled.
If DMM decides ac3+ is not necessary, blame them (and I tend to agree, actually...)

Same here on Ultimo.On VuDuo with OpenPli 3.0 updated on 29-09-2013: perfect sound on Servus HD Deutschland, AC3 and AC3+, downmix on and off.
But on SOLO2 & DUO2 the AC3+ track is silent ......

I'm not entirely sure if DM would appreciate my report about Solo2/DUO2 .......Its possible to add ac3+ codec for dreamboxes images because spanish provider is going to change codec.

I already contradicted this (at least for the solo2). With downmix on, it works. No silence.

Hi, i have a DM500HD, i was very happy couse with the image OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm500hd-20131002 channels with AC3+ WORKS with downmix enabled but only swiching from a channel with AC3. Today i did an upgrade from the menu settings to engima 2013-10-05 and now AC3+ is not working.
