You should not expect to get everything handed to you on a guilded platter. Try to do the search on the forum as Milo indicated, and you will find sufficient proof for what he said. I know, because I used to have the same problems he mentions with the Autobackup plugin. When the os calls in that plugin were replaced the problems were solved instantly.

You both started from the point he didn't do anything and behaved a bit hoity-toity, quite frankly.
He did do the work, tested the hypothesis and found nothing to back it up. Hence the question. But so far no proof, I must say. Moreover, you just won't get any questions that question (some of your claims), it seems to me...
So, who is behaving awkwardly here?
