Btw, you haven't answered my question: have you implemented that principle in OpenPLi, please?

Yes, we're implemented eConsoleApp with vfork, and are using eConsoleApp for everything.
Apart from some external plugins, probably.

The issue with os.system (and os.popen) has been mentioned quite a few times on the forum. It's nothing "hypothetical", it WILL happen, and it has occured. If you need "proof", search the forum. I'm not going to waste time trying to "prove" something.

Yeah... But if there is nothing in terms of real proof on the forum - only this mantra of yours - then this is just soooo not serious...

Go look for your "proof". Or fix the code.

I didn't claim anything. You did. Strenuously, He tried proving it. He couldn't.

So, do you have something concrete to back this claim up, please?

If not - it seems like a bit of a waste of time...

@gorski

You should not expect to get everything handed to you on a guilded platter. Try to do the search on the forum as Milo indicated, and you will find sufficient proof for what he said. I know, because I used to have the same problems he mentions with the Autobackup plugin. When the os calls in that plugin were replaced the problems were solved instantly.

The search revealed nothing, to the best of my abilities. Only repeated claims with no backup whatsoever.

Besides, don't shoot the messenger, I only asked a question. That's all...

If you ask a question, you should be prepared to get the answer.

But did I?

You both started from the point he didn't do anything and behaved a bit hoity-toity, quite frankly.

He did do the work, tested the hypothesis and found nothing to back it up. Hence the question. But so far no proof, I must say. Moreover, you just won't get any questions that question (some of your claims), it seems to me...

So, who is behaving awkwardly here?
