I had already tried the solution with id but unfortunately it didn't work. I really don't know what might be the problem!

I have one more request, please!
Could you please add EPG from otenet for the following channels?

ΔΙΚΤΥΟ TV
Δέλτα TV
New TV
Best TV
TRT
Corfu channel
Αιγαίο TV

They are the only ones left out. So I hope I will not bother you again! :-)

You can copy and paste the names to the xml, since I have written them exactly in the way they are written at the website.

Added.  I will not run an extra grab now.  But the regular nightly grab should take care of this.

This is the name of FOX Life in my m3u:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-ID="Foxlife.gr" tvg-name=""

And I also tried "FOX Life" for channel's ID and for channel's name, and even all the combinations of both.

Strange.   There is data in the XMLTV file.

And these are the references:

Why does it not work?

 

I am guessing now:  Is the m3u8 file written in UTF-8?  If not try to convert it to UTF-8.  (use notepad++ for this)

Although this should not make any difference, since in the foxlife names are no special or Greek characters.

But it is worth a check.

Still nothing! I opened my m3u and it was already saved in UTF-8. I saved it in Unicode and checked, I saved again in UTF-8 and checked again. Still nothing! This is so weird! If nothing else can be done, it's ok, I can live without EPG for Fox Life :-) Thanks anyway!

So it should be OK.  Maybe you have to restart your receiver to force a new download of the channels file.

Hi again!
First, after so long time the issue with "FOX Life" has been fixed. My IPTV provider has changed server and right after that the issue was fixed. Very strange!

I have two more requests. Can you please add "Nova Sports24HD" from http://www.novaguide.gr and "Investigation Discovery" from http://tvguide.cablenetcy.net.
There is already EPG for "Investigation Discovery IDX" in the .xz file, but that's a different channel.

Now, the only channel without EPG is Discovery Turbo Xtra.
Also there is an issue with three other channels: TLC, Discovery Science and Investigation Discovery IDX. There is no current EPG for all these channels, but when I long press to look at their EPG, it exists but only until yesterday.

These 3 channels are grabbed from vodafone.gr.  This site goes off-line quite often.

The alternative is the english schedule as published on cablenet.cy

Will change it to that.

 

 

Discovery Turbo Xtra.

Cablenet.cy has problems with this channel.  The schedule is grabbed, but it was wrong in the past.
