Builds were still in the process of being created and distributed. So everything should be ok now.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Cant you make it in such a way users can only access new stuff once it has been distributed fully?

E.G. setting initial rights such a manner no one can access except the rsync process, after completing setting rights that all access for all?

Syncing is an async process, and there's about 35Gb to sync, so rsync is already busy for over 30 minutes just to build the diff index.

We're looking into re-designing the system, trying to minimize this problem is on the agenda.

Up, left and right and many other key's do not work anymore after uninstalling MQB.

background:

Suddely a while ago, CoolTvGuide did not open anymore, and I could not get it to work in MQB.

Then yesterday evening I found the new Hotkey functions and finally got this to work again!

actions:

Up, left and right were re programmed in MQB, yesterday evening again in HotKey and then I uninstalled MQB.

Questions:

How to revert all to default and get everything to work solely with Hotkey?

Or is MQB mandetory?

No idea what is mandatory...
In addition when you want to change up, down, left, right for neutrino style you do not need mqb or hotkey... This is simply a config settings since a few mounths in openpli...

Every time a build happens, packages are recreated, so rsync has to tranfer the changes (although nothing was changed inside). Maybe build should only tranfer the upgrades between builds?

Hmmm. after updating the software again (third time this evening; everytime a few updates were available); it suddenly all worked - without having MQB installed!..

So MQB is not mandetory / required and I am happy as it now works perfectly ok! Thanks and keep up the good work!

I'm a bit confused. Do you find the "OK" Button in the list?
I think it's still missing or not?

@Athiok,

Rsync works block-level, it's smart enough only to transfer what is needed. But this is an off-topic conversation.

As to MQB, I think it should be removed from the feeds. It is no longer needed, and in some cases makes the box very unstable now...

I disagree with removing MQB from the feed.

HotKey is still not able to handle some of the assigned keys while being in playback mode.

As long as Hotkey cannot be called an almost 1:1 MQB alternative it should be kept in the feeds.

And what exactly makes the box unstable with MQB ? :)

If I assign action to any of the <<, >, ||, >> or STOP buttons they should be triggered only in the live TV mode.

They should not steal the functionality of this buttons while in PLAYBACK (Timeshift or MoviePLayer)
