Weird. Can you check with another service? Something "simple"?

What do you call a service? Is it a channel as Eurosport, Motors TV...? The movies I tried to convert were recorded on different channels : Disney Channel, M6, Canal+ Family...

Ah ok. Maybe another provider? Some providers tend to tragically mess things up. If you give me an example of a service that screws up (name, provider, position), I can try.

I tried with 2 providers : TNT and Canal Satellite. What do you want exactly? Is there something as I gave to Willy in this post :

And there are channels with which I have problems in the lists I gave.

 

I'm surprised there are so much problems, I don't think it's come from the records.

Some of the services are on DVB-T, I can't check that, others are on 19.2 apparently, which I can check. Hold on, it may a while.

Ok but on 19.2, it's Canal+ and it's encrypted.

 

Otherwise, I can try on a free to air channel if you want.

I think this is the problem:

Command line used:

"/usr/bin/mkvmerge" --output-charset UTF-8 --identify-for-mmg "/nfs/video/stb/movie/20141123_-_AYLA.ts"

Output:

Error: Found B frame without second reference in a non closed GOP. Fix the MPEG2 video stream before attempting to multiplex it.

mkvmerge says the stream is not standards compliant (whether it's correct in saying that, is another story).

 

I think Moritz would be gratefully accept a sample recording and a bug report.

Who is Moritz? The creator of mkvmerge? And where can I get the bug report? I have only the window with the mp3 tracks.

 

It's only with my french channels there is the problem? You haven't any problem with your home country channels?

You can try yourself, IIRC "BVN" is FTA available on 19.2, it's "our" TV5.

I will do tries later because now I'm trying to install SlimKat on my phone. Saturday, I've tried Cyanogen but I had too much problems.

Always good to use Cyanogenmod, I meant. I have >5 devices here running it

Ok but when I have installed it :

- I have several crashes in a few hours,

- impossible to get an audio reader which can read my music, it get only a very few music files,

- stock Contacts application is not well,

- stock photo application is not well,

- DM Contact from Google Play doesn't see my contacts...

 

I'm trying to install it again but I've done first a format system. Perhaps it will work better.

With the snapshot version, it's better. No more problems with external card, DM contact sees my contacts but audio readers don't see wma files except VLC beta which is not interesting (very very slow and very few possibilities). I don't find any fix for this problem .

Hello,

 

I recorded a movie and it created .eit, .ts, .cuts, .meta, and .sc but no .ap file. When I try to execute the cuts it complains that it cannot find the ap file. How can I recreate this file? what is the name of the plugin?

 

DM8000 and using the lastest image updated today.

try 'reconstructapsc' plugin

And after installing you don't find new entry in the plugin browser. Open movie list, select file and press menu button. Then you should see an entry "reconstruct ap sc" or similar.
