There is no libgif4 on de upload server, in non of the feeds. So it's an issue on the buildserver.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Just for info:

Updated 2 x DM7020HD via GUI this afternoon with "Upgrade and Ask to Reboot"; I think it was #2 selection on the upgrade menu. One had 32 packages and the other 31 packages to update.

Upgraded with no problems. Checked again and no more updates available.

All works OK as far as I can tell.

When updating via the GUI, make sure to choose the “update offline and reboot” option. After the reboot, run the update again, until there are no more updated packages left.

How come I am not offered "update offline and reboot" option on my ET9000?

See the screenshot, please.

Yes, the xtrend generation 1 stb's failed. The all too well known problem with the blindscan package (supplied by xtrend). IIRC MiLo "fixed" it by not having the build fail on it, but apparently the "fix" got lost somewhere or there is another problem now.

the strange thing is that the build from today seems to be present on the server /?/

http://openpli.org/d.../xtrend/et9x00/

and as to this long lasting xtrend blindscan issue, seems that they 'fixed' it finally in the bsp layer after several unsuccessful attempts, some time ago (in a weird way, if you ask me, btw),

at least here both image and the feed build just fine

Yes I think that is true. Just like the DMM builds that used to "just" work before. I think the cleanout of the tmp has had some negative side-effects, which hopefully can be resolved by explicite building of some packages. I just finished doing that for the dm800se and it seems to work.

It seems the most easy way to solve issues with big updates is to delete build folder...

And it hurts every time master-next is merged into master ;)

What I see last 2 days ... I must run home build twice. When is first build finished, then is displayed x-packages to update, but nothing is updated. After second build ( of course, nothing new is builded) works update ok.

(Home builders) We are missing the new features of OE (eg PR server is not enabled and buildhistory too) and that might be one the causes that packages didn't auto increase their pr to force update...

The problem with the xtrends seems to something we can't fix ourselves, it seems to be in the bsp :(

Can someone tell me the exact problem with the xtrend bsp layer (via pm if you want because it's off topic). Then I can try to solve it.

ok, indeed, this blindscan-dvbs-utils issue just seemed to be fixed, actually...
took a closer look into this yesterday, and:
- the feed builds successfully only once, on clean build, at every subsequent try it fails at this

ERROR: Function failed: do_deploy (log file is located at /home/bart/openpli-oe-core/build/tmp/work/mips32el-oe-linux/et-blindscan-dvbs-utils/1.0-r6/temp/log.do_deploy.31055)

- after you -cleansstate it, the feed build succeeds, but just one time again...

https://github.com/X...n-dvbs-utils.bb
as I understand it:
- et-blindscan-utils should just install the binary, no idea what was the  rationale behind for using the plugin as a source, instead of just avl binary
- after several failed attempts to repair the recipe, so that it installed avl-xtrend-blindscan properly, they came up with the idea to install a complete plugin, with binary inside... /?!/
(what still breaks build of the feed - see above error)
