Not in our BSP.

Is there actually any communication going on between openpli and vu+? All I can see here in this thread is that pli team talks bad about vu+ code quality. Come on guys it cant be that bad, vu+ have by far the most advanced e2 hardware available and I suggest openpli try to improve communication instead of speaking bad in forums.

Are you guys not also looking at the following website to pervent double work on obsolete drivers?

http://code.vuplus.c...s_3.0;a=summary

I am starting to think that this is being blocked deliberately.

We indeed need a jess modification. But someone need to offer us a good patch as at this moment we do not have a jess configuration available here. Personally I think the current jess code could be made much smoother... Think about what we did with fbc...t

Vu has indeed first the newest hardware. But their drivers could be better... Think about input devices etc...
For the vusolo4k the box crashes with uhdtv in pip, when the video output is 4k then the pip is on the wrong location an size (they need to add some code there). When you go to 3d mode it does not revert back... (And we have a bit more)... But this is as I think work in progress for vu... But still Vu has the first 4k enigma2 box on the market...

It is still an OpenPLi-4 image, gstreamer 0.10.

Aan de rand van de afgrond is een stap voorwaarts niet altijd vooruitgang....

On the edge of the abyss, a step forward is not always progress....

Hardware: 2x Daily used Vu+ Ultimo 4K - Vu+ Duo 4K SE and a lot more.... - VisioSat BiBigsat - Jultec Unicable Multiswitch 4 positions: 19.2/23.5/28.2 East - Diseqc motorized flatdish antenna

Software : HomeBuild OpenPLi Develop and Scarthgap builds, local cards driven by OsCam

I think you should refrain from accusations if you lack the relevant background knowledge.

Change the mode you mean.

Just use the hotkey for it, IIRC it's a long press on the TV key.

Could someone test the current, git 92, BackupSuite with the Solo4k? I hear of different results.
Screen-shots of the process and the BackupSuite.log from the folder /tmp would be welcome.

TIA

Then you need to install a display skin that draws the icon on the screen. The current one is very simple and doesn't do that.

We add whatever driver that VU+ adds to the BSP package. So VU+ added the wrong driver version?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Can you please try this test on open pli and the latest drivers. I do not have open pli flashed on mine atm whilst I've been testing other images.

Setup tuners as advanced unicable etc. In my case I have 4scrs which I have all linked to tuner a.

Set of some recordings on A, C, D, And view a channel on E, Then stop the recording on tuner A. This results in glitching and tune failed and this repeats.

Another test is just to set the preferred tuner Dvbs to C,D or E, then go to watch a channel, it should be using the preferred tuner you set, it will give the same results of tune failed, glitching etc.

These problems go away when using the previous driver set.

This is an unsupported configuration. A leaf tuner (C-H) can never operate without one of the the root tuners (A-B) beings active, that is how FBC works.
