Here is the result

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/SlowZap/plugin.py:420: SyntaxWarning: "is" with a literal. Did you mean "=="?
  if count > 1 and adjust[0] is 0:

So I edit the plugin.py and fix it (replacing is with == ) and now SlowZap seems to start properly but I cannot really test it further since I have waiting for the internal DVB-C tuner on the box I am testing on.

Thanks for the Python3 porting.

Can this package be added into the feed?  We are still providing the version 2.2 but version 2.4 is released?

In the category "dumb questions": why isn't this plugin in the feed? Can't you make a bb recipe for it, so I don't have to update the thirdparty feed manually?

I think that version 2.7 is not yet in the feed (I think that it is only 2.6 which is available), can you please check this?

I can imagine not everybody is fluent in bitbake recipes. If we can agree on an (internet) location where the files are placed (archive), we can arrange for a recipe that downloads and "compiles" it. It's probably all Python so just collect and assemble into package?

Otherwise, yeah, we'd really like to have the source open and then we can make recipe to compile it. With the advantage it will make suitable binaries for all archs.

Plugins can always go into e2openplugins, any plugin developer can get a repo there with full access, just ask one of the admins to set one up, or send an email to the e2openplugins email address.

Why is this plugin not available in feed for the Solo4K or the Zgemma H.10?

It is available on my Duo 4K and OS Mio 4K (which has no CI slot :-) ).

This plugin can never pass OpenPLi's quality... ;)

os.system("cp /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/SlowZap/enigma2_pre_start.sh /usr/bin/enigma2_pre_start.sh && chmod 755 /usr/bin/enigma2_pre_start.sh")

This should be done different...

This plugins has a lot of tricky work-a-rounds...

This plugin is a "must have" when you want to combine CI(+) decoding and softcam and it is not at all in any feed?

It is possible that I have it on some boxes because I install it manually.

So it should be proposed in the feed.  ;)
