Hello anyone that can help me.

I have an Xtrend 10000 with 3x receivers in it.

I've updated regularly to the latest Openpli image.

 

Reason for opening this new topic is that I'm now at wits end with this receiver.

For months now I've been trying to find out why this receiver is constantly 'hanging' - where this round circle is constantly running in the top left corner.

When this happens - you can do nothing - you cannot change channel - nothing - and this is now so annoying that I'm thinking of throwing this receiver through the window.

It happens at least every 10 minutes or so - if not more often and lasts for about 1 - 2 sometimes 3 minutes.

Then I switch of the unit at the back - and restart it.

Then when it has started again - it will show you the last channel  you used and it hangs again for at least 2 - 3 minutes before a channel comes on and you can use the receiver.

 

I've tried with only 1x receiver - and its the same problem.

 

I've connected with Putty and ran command TOP - and it shows %VSZ 11% for /usr/bin/enigma2

But CPU usage is no more then 1 or 2 %.

 

Is anyone else suffering like this?

Is it the OPENPLI image that is causing this?

Or do I basically have to come to the conclusion that this Xtrend 10000 is just a piece of junk?

I've no problem with my VU DUO+ - that is working fine with the latest image.

 

Any pointers that can help me with this problem would be very much appreciated.

I never heard of that problem. You watch fta channels?

Try to flash new image. Don't restore settings and don't install plugins. Then test whether problem is still there.
