@ostende on oe-alliance bb file is not created by mx3l.

You can propose correction himself with pull reqest, or ask somone of the oe-alliance correct their bb file.

Hello,

I changed plugin name from enigma2-plugin-extensions-serviceapp to enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-serviceapp, also serviceapp is moved from plugin menu to system menu.

Please use this recipe to build:

https://github.com/m...s-serviceapp.bb

If you already build enigma2-plugin-extensions-serviceapp,

then clean your sysroot with "MACHINE=yourmachine bitbake enigma2-plugin-extensions-serviceapp -c clean" and then build with

"MACHINE=yourmachine bitbake enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-serviceapp.

I will be not renaming plugin anymore.

Ok guys

Something is not quite right with the new SSS rtmp ffmpeg patch.

When using this patch with

- ffmpeg 3.1.4

- exteplayer3 rev: https://github.com/s...f09c36f63f2b5f9

If I stream from ITV Player both from Kodi and from an Enigma2 plugin the stream will play perfectly but after exactly 1 minute it will stop. It does this without fail each time and everytime. To be sure I also seeked 5 minutes into the stream and played it from there and sure enough after exactly 1 minute when the stream reached 6 minutes in duration the stream stopped once more.

here is the Enigma2 lever 4 debug

I then tested an image still using-ffmpeg 3.1.4

but without applying the attached ffmpeg-keep-native-rtmp-support.patch.

and with these Exteplayer3 commits reverted

https://github.com/s...7cb963e501ed16b and https://github.com/s...b91c43932cdaa4.

and there are no such issues with the stream stopping after 1 minute and it plays perfectly for its duration.

I hope you guys can sort this as it would be great to apply and use this new patch once this issue is addressed.

Ian.

@ian1095

Patch is only to give possibility to select RTMP implementation.

So, if there is a problem this is not a patch but RTMP implementation. For example before you use librtmp implementation at now you use native ffmpeg implementation.

Understood?

So, you can test with the patch and so, on but force LIBRTMP implementation.

Simple?

Everything has been written in this topic, so why you not read?

I guess it's because swfurl and swfvfy is currently not passed to ffmpeg rtmp, since it should be swfUrl and swfVfy, but looks like librtmp treats it correctly both ways.

If this is the problem then it's simple fix.

@SSS Sorry for the way I worded it. I should have said the implementation of the patch by Exteplayer3 rather than the patch itself being at fault.

No offense intended.

@mx3L

fyi your serviceapp is working really really well.

The issue where the subs would sometimes flash a few times has been resolved completely.

I've dusted of my old DM800HD (300MHz mipsel without FPU) and it's amazing what serviceapp / exteplayer is able to do on such old hardware.

congrats to both of you mx3L and SSS.

good to hear :)

@MastaG

If I recall correctly, you had some problem with wrongly detected encoding in some subtitles. Maybe your problem is solved, since uchardet has added more language maps:

https://cgit.freedes...t/uchardet/log/

I tested it and even workaround for wrongly detected slovak/czech encoding in serviceapp is now not necessary.

Ah I totally forgot about that one since it only happens for special characters like ë é è etc.. so it didn't bother me that much.
I'll upgrade uchardet to the latest git and see how it goes.
Thanks man!

Anyway you need to be aware of simple fact that some links will works only with librtmp and some only with ffmpeg implementation.

Hi mx3L

Ive just found another bug that's crept into Serviceapp with the last couple of updates.

When adding EPG to IPTV services in bouquets,the EPG data no longer shows in Channel lists when Serviceap is set to Exteplayer3 or GSTPlayer,but its fine when Serviceapp is set to Original. The EPG is fine however in the Infobar and when pressing the EPG/Info button after selecting an IPTV channel that data has been added to show the EPG,its just the Channel lists where it no longer shows. Although I cannot tell you exactly which update stopped the EPG from showing in the Channel lists for IPTV Services,it is a very recent thing as it was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago.

I wouldn't imagine that this is in need of fixing urgently as it doesn't effect streaming in any way,but I felt you should be made aware of the issue none the less and perhaps you can take a look at addressing it if/when you add any more important fixes/updates in the near future.

Ian.

I'm not aware of any changes made to EPG. Can you try to build serviceapp where it worked before(e374ef50df465b99fde3f8cd79c40ad1ce8df8ba), to see if it works?

Yes I will try to look into that for you.

More importantly though I've found another stream type that Servicapp and Exteplayer3 wont play.

Its streams fine however when Serviceapp is set to either GSTPlayer or Original.

Hi mx3L

The above log was from streaming from Enigma2

Here is the log from withing Kodi

I don't know if its different and it helps by shedding more light on why its failing. It looks to my novice eye to be the same error ?

Ive also found that although it plays using GSTPlayer, this stream also stops after 1 minute just like ITVPlayer did before your last fix,so is this a similar issue when rtmp streams are used ?
