That's weird (and makes me frown for obvious reasons). A freshly flashed OpenPli 4.0 uses 'root' and password <empty>. With <empty> meaning nothing. You are encouraged to set the password yourself.
Alas it is all to common by cardservers (that friendly guy around the corner) to enter a password without notifying you. Thus preventing you to 'see' the password and preventing you to turn off the reverse addressing yourbox.
Second scenario is that you are NOT the owner/operator of said box but are only allowed to view certain programs. Much like a parental control...
In short: if YOU did not set the password, YOU are in trouble and i would certainly advise you to reflash in order to regain control
