or press long EPG key on your remote control, then you can choose which EPG will be shown when you next time press short EPG key

The new COOL-version is working very well on all my VU+ demos BUT... I still did NOT find how/where to set the PICON-directory ???

This is the DMM style that Cool TV uses... set a softlink to that location to /picons....
GMEPG can be set via Hotkeys... on boxes that had an EPG and INFO key it is already assigned by default.

When you use the GMEPG which is for 99% the same as Cool EPG you do not need the softlink at all...
As Cool is closed source I have no idea where it needs the picons....

Alas, with my Vu + solo, nothing happens when I do: x2 Menu.
Nothing either when I make a long support on EPG ...

This is probably why, I like GMepg less: I have never found his page settings... 
If you could set the default setting of GMepg as in the screenshot of Blunt (# 72), for me it would be perfect !
So I would use GMepg with pleasure

Sorry for beating a dead horse... but...
Got a message in CoolTVguide to upgrade to a new version... was annoyed @ another time bomb.... but.... checked around ... and found that....
There is a new version available 7.7.0 on the vuplus support forum... still has the Full HD skin problem but the solution for that is described on the forum here. Coolman has promised to stay around for 50 more years... and write code when time allows...
What I miss in graphic multi EPG is:
Ability to mark a timer recording with one button (record)
Ability to scale fonts for sections
Ability to scale sections (Top with picture is needlessly big)
And other new extra functions... see the mentioned forum and description of 7.7
What I do not understand is the use of 3 timer symbols for one timer... Just use a color...less confusing
