[solo 4k] transponder problems
PewePewe 5 Nov 2016
Hi guys.
Last night everything worked fine.
I'm on Thor/Intelsat (0.8) and Astra (4.8).
I have A/B LNB.
Was some time ago I updated openpli, so I tried it out.
But after that, I can't access my channels on Thor.
Satfinder see no signal at all.
I tried to replace satllites.xml with a working one.
Then I tried replace lamedb with an old one.. still nothing.
I can watch Astra fine, I have no clue what to do now
Anyone here got any idea or tips on what I can do?
And since everything worked fine before the update of openpli, I'm pretty sure there is no problems with my LNB.

Hi,
When online update doesn't work the first thing to try is to do a full reflash. Some updates, when they include major changes, needs a full reflash of the box.

Hi,
Even when you try a manual scan of a TP with the information from lyngsat or kingofsat?

even tried that
now I'm back on old openpli image sadly.
but now it works tho, but too bad I didn't backup the one I was on before I tried online update hehe.
guess I'll just wait few months before I try flash openpli again.
The weird part is that, when I switched Thor with Astra A/B, Astra would still work.
Feels like it's some kind of bug to me.
Thank you so much for trying to help me tho Pr2!

Hi,
I just wonder is something has not changed in the DiseqC timers that can have this impact on your system.
I guess that if a dev read this thread it can tell you more about this.
You should play around with the different DiseqC options, are you using Tone Burst or DiseqC?

hi again.
Yeah, maybe I should not give up and try different settings.
I'm not that good with linux systems in general, but I know the basics.
I'm using DiseqC.

Hi,
If you only have a basic A/B DiseqC switch perhaps try the Tone Burst instead of DiseqC it probably support both.

Hello.
This is exactly the same issue that I have. Se: http://forums.openpl...-channels-find/
No solution, and OpenPli team ignoring the bug.
WanWizard 16 Nov 2016
In general:
- simple switches need tone and voltage, no DiseqC
- multiswitches need DiseqC, no tone and voltage
Some need a DiseqC repeat, some don't. You can now configure Enigma for your specific circumstance, if you have one of those non-conforming switches.

Don't know, it was agreed to be set to 120sec, as 60 often didn't work.
I now have an XP1000 that used to work fine, but now can't tune into a single satellite. I wonder if this is caused by the same issue as in this thread... It is connected to an EMP 17/4.

What are the simptoms you have and on which box....? Are you sure only change back to 120 msec helps...? Do I also need to revert the sequence repeat here?
Please note we're try to work-a-round driver/hardware issues.....

I am sorry to say BUT the latest image (20171117) will NOT work. Impossible to find ANY channels on port A in diseqs. I have tried on my multiswitch, and on my dads simple diseqs, but no luck. The only way to get any channels on port A is to say that it is an single satellite with no force power.
This i useless.
Back to BlackHole which is working just fine.
