Thanks!
It seems there is something wrong. Not with your output, but with the image... We check.

This suggests that the boot and cfe partitions indeed can be overwritten by too large rootfs or kernel images (if partition sizes are not adhered to).

rootfs = 118 Mib

kernel = 4 MiB

From my preliminary research it looks like the duo and solo images may contain the bootloader of the solose for some weird reason...

edit: uno and ultimo have the same problem, I've taken them offline too.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

ubifs uses compression. So flashed image size should be smaller than 128MB... I still don't understand why this image should brick the box.

Edit: Maybe kernel size?
Can somebody with an original Duo post the output of

cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 3d900000 00020000 "rootfs"
mtd1: 3d900000 00020000 "rootfs(redundant)"
mtd2: 00700000 00020000 "kernel"
mtd3: 00200000 00020000 "mac"
mtd4: 3a65c000 0001f000 "rootfs"

well it is for duo2 , forget my post

Hello, it's true. 10 days ago, I also recorded the OpenPli 6 and after turning on, only the red LED lights! I have original VU + SOLO. Instructions for fixing the bootloader are attached.After repainting the bootloader I uploaded OpenPli 4 and the receiver is working again.

Quick Question please.

I see many different things added for Kodi 17.

Don't have a vps currently to try and compile, so wondering how far approx you think it may be to in normal plugins available for download?

I know thats a lame question, but intrigued.

Thank you.

Hello!

This to inform you that the GUI disappears regularly on my Xtrend ET-9200, no matter whether I do an online update or by USB or I power down the box in deep standby and start it again. Oddly enough this happens not every time but quite frequently. Especially after the last 3 - 4 builds.

Can someone have a look in to this matter please?

Thank you in advance!
