But it shows that nobody from our team bothers to look at what is going on in E2open, and nobody else seems to manage it too. Indeed, not a real issue, but it is something that has to go on the agenda. If only for cleanliness and principle.

Now that we're close to release, I see the enthousiasm in people pick up again, and after we have 6.0 out the door, we can start with all the stuff still on the todo list. We need a very cold and rainy summer...

Hi,
Just a small question using autobackup if I am right I read somewhere that after the installation of OpenPLi 6 the restore done from autobackup should restore every plugins previously installed.
This doesn't seems to be the case, none of the plugins are restored, I am thinking especially of xmltv-import which is not restored.

There is a bug that has been present in OpenPLi 4 for a a while, and has only come to light during R/C testing.
If you have never restored a backup after a new flash of OpenPLi 4 (the prompt you get when you first boot up), you are missing the /etc/installed file, which contains all packages in the image by default. Which autobackup requires to generate the autoinstall file (i.e. all packages that are NOT in the image by default). So presumable your autoinstall file is empty in your backup.
This didn't show up in development testing, as all testers restore backups every day...

Mediaplayer is off course present (just like in 4 only with a new gstreamer)
If you do the Autobackup and autoinstall to a USB drive it is possible to put the USB in the computer and have a look (also in the plugin screen you can see if an autobackup is available and from which date/time).
