The plugin has been the most reliable back up plugin and i have used it for years without any issues at all. I can swear by it.

It is not the plugin, you flashed a faulty image. Which just proves our point that if you're not an active tester, you should probably not install an R/C, but wait for the stable release. ;)

No, because you flashed the wrong image.

No I have no problems whatsoever that's why I found it strange that mtd-utils-ubifs wasn't and couldn't (be) installed.

So the problems is there was an too early RC installed.

sorry have to sign off at the moment.

I understand - i just wanted to flash it due to the ease of adding the mediaportal plugin compared to openpli 4. I will give up and revert back to my to my backed up openpli 4. I feel absolutely brain dead!!!

Yeah, the first public run of the R/C build was wrong (has some other issues to), so we deleted it from the servers, fixed the issues, and ran a new build (first build runs for about 36 hours).

In the meantime, appearently more people than we thought downloaded it, and didn't download the new one (the one currently online, from yesterday).

@zigzag, just download the correct one, from the website, flash it, and run. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes? Could have been done in the time this discussion runs... ;)
