Please describe what exactly happens when you try to flash the selected backup via the backup suite.
Is a ofgwrite screen visible on the tv screen? Is there an error message?

Are there spaces in the directory name? Can you rename and remove the spaces? This might be a problem.

Hello, i would be very grateful for some help please.

I have spent the last few hours flashing to the latest openpli 6 on my xtrend 9200 and after adding the

backupsuite and then trying to back my image up to the plugin i get this error:

/usr/sbin/mkfs.ubifs not found, the backup process will be aborted!

Image creation FAILED!

Execution finished!!

I would be grateful for some help to get this plugin to work as i only use the backupsuite for this purpose.

Thank you very much.

I never back my complete image up only the settings and plugins with Autobackup (https://wiki.openpli...ckup/AutoBackup). This will also work if you go back to 4 (so you needn't back up the complete image in my opinion)

But if you want to, just to be sure or if you have a lot of external plugins or something, I found this with a Google search usr/sbin.ubifs not found

Open a telnet session and give the command

opkg list-installed | grep ubifs

If there is no result try

opkg install mtd-utils-ubifs

This should install ubifs IF the packages for Openpli 6 are still the same

Otherwise try

find / -name 'mkfs.ubifs'

Pedro, thank you for your post but it still hasn't worked for me.

The first command opkg list-installed | grep ubifs was installed but i still get the same error.

The second option opkg install mtd-utils-ubifs  results in the following: Collected errors: opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package mtd-utils-ubifs.

The final option, i copied as you had posted it and it resulted in nothing at all.

Usually it is the mediaaportal plugin that is a problem but on this image I have spent the last 8 hrs and 15 mins trying to add this one plugin and it has knocked the stuffing out of me. I really am physically drained as well as frustrated that i have wasted my whole day.

Do you have any other suggestions Pedro?

If not, i will just flash my backed up openpli4 again as this has been a waste of time.

Try this: opkg install util-linux-mkfs ?

I just tried it and it returned the following:

Collected errors:

* opkg_prepare_url_for_install: Couldn't find anything to satisfy  'util-linux-mkfs'.
