No one has ever tested OpenMultiboot for Mutant HD 2400.

I think that it will not work, since my requests have not been accepted, more than once.

Enable nandsim module

Biki3 wrote that it worked on hd2400 with a workaround. Now he has a Ultimo4k and there the workaround don't work. He has trouble with mounts.

Maybe biki3 can write more details.

Edit: Better in new thread :)

, jetzt is alles klar.

yes i will make a new thead for this problem, but on another day i have not much time at the moment.

and one thing for the moment - openmultiboot works good with mutanthd2400 and it works also with vuultimo4k but only if i install pli on usb stick

i can't mount correct my volumes also not if i mount them with uuid in fstab.

if i install pli in flash then all mounts are perfect

IPv6 active?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I've checked the code, you have found a wifi network without an ESSID, which I think is a hidden network (set to "do not broadcast the SSID"), which the code can't handle.

I'll look for a fix.

edit: fix pushed, will be available in the next R/C build.

btw: this code hasn't changed since 2012, and is also present like this in OpenPLi 4 and other images, a scan entry without ESSID is illegal according to the standards. Do you have a linux pc by any chance? And if so, could you send me the result of "iwscan" (via PM if you want), I'm very curious to see what this network exactly is.

WanWizard,

You are right, the same problem was present in pli 4 and pli 5.
Basicaly, this Fritz wlan sick is pre-configured for an automated access to my router fritzbox and it is working like this if i plug the stick in a Windows machine.

On the pli it is connecting to any open Vodafone access point and is not cappable to scan the available Networks.

I have Ubuntu installed on a partition but have almost no expirience with Linux

If you can start Ubuntu, login, go to a commandline, then type the command

ifconfig

This will list all your interfaces, the wifi interface of your PC will be one of them. It will be something like

[wanwizard@catwoman] $ ifconfig
enp7s0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500

Here, "wlp6s0" is my wireless interface (not connected at the moment). Find yours in the list (it will have a different name).

Next, type the command

iwlist wlp6s0 scan

but replace "wlp6s0" with the name of your interface.

It should respond with one or more cells, like this:

sorry for interrupting, this should be fixed, if all goes wrong you could copy wpa_supplicant.wlan0.conf to /etc and reboot the box, the file looks like

#WPA Supplicant Configuration by enigma2
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
eapol_version=1
fast_reauth=1
ap_scan=1
network={
	ssid="xxxxxxxxxxx"
	scan_ssid=0
	key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
	proto=RSN
	pairwise=CCMP
	group=CCMP
	psk="xxxxxxxxxx"
}

you can edit ssid and psk (password), wlan0 is usually the first wlan device, when you plug the wlan stick into the box check it with ifconfig

Hi mrvica

i believe that in this file is configured the own SSID of the Wlan stick, not the Wifi network  you are going to connect to, right?

SSID is the WiFi network you want to connect to, psk is the password of that network

I have another suggestion, to add an automated sync with ntp server. I do it manually because I don't have any SAT LNB connected to receiver and use it as a media player or for OTT television over internet.

You can install the systemtime plugin for that. It also allows you to set a delay in case your box has wifi only, so it waits with the sync until the network is up.

Hallo,
