Do we really need yet another specific plugin? Can't this be solved by including some terrestrial.xml?

Apperantly not, see what Huovos wrote about it.

We seem to already have the plugin, but we don't have the xml.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

IMO, plugin is fine in the feeds. People can download it if it suits their needs. For most people using the correct xml solves most problems. Abu can submit a PR for the xml.

Regarding VU+ Ultimo4k we are missing that http://code.vuplus.c...08b1be40756fbd4

Maybe somebody should ping VU+ to add the change to BSP layer?

I have submitted the pull request.

https://github.com/O...penPLi-1/pull/2

I think you guys should change where that file is stored. "The old engima1 base environment". You have two file Changelog/changelog. This comes up as a commit for those of us who use Windows.

OE-A one is here

We probably should move the xml's to a separate repo, to cut the dependency on the old CDK repo. It also makes it easier for people to issue a PR on them for updates.

Another PR here so users don't end up scanning the wrong region after there is an xml file update.

Also, I'm a bit confused. Even though there is a cables.xml it is not being installed in the image. So one of the makefiles must be missing this?

Good question. Is tuxbox not the same in PLi 4, PLi develop and Pli RC?

Not anymore, since yesterday :o

"master" / OpenPLi 4 still gets it the usual way

"develop" and "rc-6.0" get them via a new, dedicated repository that I announced yesterday and as such have had a version jump. Also the "new" tuxbox-common package has the "tuxbox-links" package merged into it, so that package has gone.
