OK.  The file rytec.channels-slovenia.xml.xz is not readable.  Have to find out why.

For the moment use the gz files pls. (From the top half of the selection screen.)

Found the error.  Nothing wrong with the file itself, it was just missing on the mirrors, due to a failed upload.  (file was present, but with a length of zero - no data)

 

Uploaded the files again.  And checked them.

Give it another hour before trying again, in order to give the mirrors a chance to get synced.

Hi Doglover!

 

Reporting that import from slovenia.xz works now!

 

But missing epg for a lot of channels I had before with old version. With old version I just ticked a box Slovenia on the bottom part of menu (use at own risk) and all was there.

 

Can you please attach those chanells from there to new version ? Or should I change sref for mine chanells (but dont know correct service references supported)?

The new versions do not have less channels compared to the old version.

The channels are only different split up over several files.

 

First of all:  News channels and a number of miscellaneous channels (mostly music and Fashion) have been left out and provided in the Rytec General  section: News Channels and Misc.

Activate these also if you are missing channels from this categories

 

And in the case of Slovenia there is something else which plays a role.

The Slovenian file was previous combined with the Croatian/Serbian file.  It is possible that previous you also got some EPG for Croatian/Serbian channels.

In this case experiment with activating one or both the Croatian/Serbian files.  (The SportsMovies should be the same).

When you do that you may end up with the wrong language EPG for some channels.  There are solutions for this though.

 

If this does not lead to any result, can you pls list the channels you are missing EPG from?

The POP channels have missing EPG in the XMLTV file.

The grab needs continuous maintenance. And one of the maintenance I had to perform about a week ago for these channels was reading a cookie file.  The problem now was that I forgot to copy the cookie to the grab PC.  So the grab failed.  Fixed now.

(Actually I did not forget to copy it, but copied it to the wrong folder.  I run up to 6 grabs at a time, but in order for this to work I have to run each instance in a separate folder.  And I copied to cookie to the test folder, bur forgot to copy it to the actual folder)

Stopped after this with checking. 

 

It seems that you have another problem.  I recommend that you give your receiver a cold boot.  Meaning switchingit off.  Remove it from power (switch power off).  wait 5 minutes.  And restart the receiver and reimport EPG.

POP channels will be OK tomorrow.

Hi Doglover!

 

Cold boot done,most epg come back but wit changing of sref, POP is working fine today. Still missing slo sports chanells (Šport TV 1,2,3 and Sportklub 1,2,3,..). My opinion is that epg is missing from all first part (--UPC Telemach SD in HD/ostalo--) from rytec.channels-slovenia .xml.

 

If not so can you just give me service references for slo sport chanells supported?

Exactly from this file I take references from, but first section of chanells (<!-- UPC Telemach SD in HD/ostalo -->) has no epg assigned. Checked with many chanells.  I know you are busy and dont want to disturb you, but can you just look into this when you have time?

 

 

I have epg for all my chanells back except Šport TV 1,2,3.

How am i to now the service refs for this section?  They are given to me, and if they are not correct I do not have any means to check this, because they are cable service refs.

Only people with a cable subscription to that provider will have the exact service refs.  Needless to say I do not have such a subscription, nor can I get one.

 

If they are not correct, users have to tell me so.

 

Something tells me you want EPG for an IPTV list.  And you have taken the service refs from the cable provider to assign them to you IPTV channels.  This only works if these channels are included in lamedb.  I begin to suspect this is not the case in your situation.

Hi, there is something wrong with Slovak/Czech EPG generating. No gz file generated and I got error message: "Manual download failed". Is it possible to fix this? I am using the most recent version of Rytec EPG downloader - 17.8.18 . Thx !

No.  Stopped doing this file.  (Too much problems)

The reasons are the same as why I stopped long ago the Turkish EPG, and some months ago the OSN (arabic) schedules.

It ate too much of my time, updating every week grabs, finding new websites etc, etc, etc...  And always in languages which I do not remotely understand.

Also, almost no people in Europe can receive these channels.

In the UK, "Freeview" is used to describe services received using a Terrestrial aerial, not using a satellite.

As you have also listed "FTA", can you please explain/confirm what services "Freeview" in the plugin actually means/obtains?

Note:
FTV = FreeToView. Services for which a subscription is not required. But a Sky card with entitlements is required. Such as Sony Movie Channel
There are only a handful of these. If it was the intention to have this category, well and good. Otherwise, might be an idea to keep them in the Live section

Can the dead section be moved to the bottom please?
