Sorry, I merged 3 similar threads into one, I think...
Went back and found this: "distributed over at least 4 TV receivers, with ability to watch any desired channel from any satellite at any time and on any TV."
Close but not quite "it" I guess... Or did it mean 4STBs after all, even if it meant DVB-S tuners in TVs?
Never seen the Vu+ with that tuner: how does it control what is sent where, can you get a screenshot, please?
"the whole management of tuners will be done by VU+"
Have you seen the plugin I mentioned? It does give a client STB without coax (but with LAN) easy access from unused tuners in the house, which have coax.
Problem would be to discern which tuners are not used or to tie it up to a specific client STB. Btw, very capable STBs are now very cheap. I still think, given LAN connectivity all round the house, this might be a simple and elegant solution, if these STBs can be given exclusive access to specific tuners, i.e. in a discriminatory manner...

<span style='font-family: comic sans ms,cursive'>"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-incurred immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another. This immaturity is self-incurred if its cause is not lack of understanding, but lack of resolution and courage to use it without the guidance of another.
