The interface is there. It's /proc/stb/video/vmpeg/*/dst*. Whether it works as expected, that is another story and I'd like to explore that one time.

Erik it does niet work... when you have ore than 1 pip (main screen included) it does not work... you need to reduce the main screen (and others) to 1/4 size or less... but I stop investigation now...

the display interface have limits depends to bcm chip not all works identical
when i look to the bcm hw dok the 4 x 4 was max for the bcm vu chips

Beside this there is a normal and mozaik mode... in mozaik mode the dst procs are non responsive as one of the values in these procs are invalid for mozaik mode... then you got a weird outcome...

So, as I said, the interface is there, but the semantics are not complete. The third and fourth video decoder either are "beneath" the other two (z-axis) or they can't work in "normal" mode. If we have it all working we might ask VU+ however what's actually possible without running into hardware limits.

So how is this supposed to work now? From what I read I believe the plugin should be working with the latest update? I just downloaded the RC 6.0 20170920 and put the QuadPip folder I unzipped into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins. I then get the "Enable QuadPip" entry and the four empty screens appear, so far so good. But when trying to actually pick some channels the plugin crashes. I tried with PLi-FullNightHD skin as it was originally flashed and with the PLi-FullHD skin.
The crashlog always gives the same error: AttributeError: 'ServiceList' object has no attribute 'selectionEnabled'

And as I recently discovered it works ok, although the sound didn't work completely as it should. I still wonder what's the use of these kind of plugins.

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

Not fully as on Ultimo4K you don't have audio on the bottom two quad mozaiks.
For the rest it seems to be fine... And I already saw I can remove >30 lines of the code from the plugin itself....
