rtl_eeprom: error while loading shared libraries: librtlsdr.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 

In /usr/lib/ it exists librtlsdr.so.0 and perm set to 777

On what receiver are you trying that? Using what version of OpenPLi and what files?

I see with this dongle even more is possible... e.g. FM radio also... All the features it offers is not suitable for E2... but A plugin could be made...

But still it would be a 'nice' object to integrate something of it in E2 by 'extend' the DVB-T service reference 'options' At least it would be 'helpful' to let the thing 'tune' via a service reference in common settings.

Of course that would be great.

For now the plugin works fine, the condition is a good signal/antenna.

 

@athoik significantly improved the detection of the existing channels in the list

in his latest update.

I haven't installed anything. I use the SDGR radio plugin which comes with the image.

I remember to have got it working hearing FM services months ago.

 

Tuner is already blacklisted on /etc/modprobe.d/ 

blacklist dvb_usb_rtl28xxu

It's not a DVB service, so extending the DVB-T doesn't seem the right approach.

Although having a gstreamer plugin might be a better idea, and there is already one here: https://github.com/P.../fmradioservice

Using the same "idea" like "fmradioservice", and the help of DAB/DAB+ library, we can easily integrate it on E2 using 4097 service

Now FM works, but DAB it gives the same error than before, but now with libfftw3f.so.3

In lib folder that libfftw3f.so.3 is a simlink to libfftw3f.so.3.4.4

Are you sure you didn't install something from external sources?

You can reinstall it.

opkg install libfftwf --force-reinstall

I think the problem might related with the PPM frequency (frequency offset).

The program supports it using -p parameter (eg -p 51).

Thee rtl_test is available, the Kal, not yet, but will build the following days.

So give a try with ppm suggested by rtl_test.

I do not know why, noise from the receiver and the like ???

I use an extensible USB cable with ferrite rings.

The aerial is a piece of wire hangs out of the window.

 

It is true that sensitivity or something else is not the same as with Windows or android

but with a small antenna out there and with the above USB cable I have a great ,reception and audio

And there are no such big variations of signal .

 

I have SNR 4 or 5 and quality is 100, sometimes less ( 94 -100}

I've already tried Direct USB to receiver, and using a high quality cable, both give same results.

I have an outside Vertical Band III aerial for DAB.
