I gave it another try to build openpli for fulan/amiko spark7162 and now latest (no local changes nor patches) seem to be unbuildable:

Yes why not, everything we use for dm7020hd could be used for dm7020hdv2 too ;)

dm7020hdv2 is dm7020hd only with a different nand flash that's all.

There is no need for https://forums.openp...ndpost&p=913600 so remove what you added.

I did remove rt7777 too.

Thanks again Master Persian Prince. It seem like the image is require to be build which I had failed many times and got my whole harddisk wipe-out previously. But I think I need to try this again so I would have better knowledge in this technology.

Best Regards

Thank you for the detailed instructions. One question please. It takes a while (hours) to compile the project. Is this normal? Also, if I make a change to some of the code, do I need to recompile the whole thing again?

It's normal and it depends on your hardware, if you're using on a VM you need to give it more ram then more cpu.

I'm using Intel Xeon E5-2650 with 32GB Ram but as I don't have SSD it's not so good, try it on a Samsung SSD like nvme sockets and you'll get your image less than a hour ;)

If you did change some code just increase the PR like this: https://github.com/P...e5d16297b152150

And if you're using a bbappend file like https://github.com/P...nigma2.bbappend whenever the main repo get updated it will be rebuilded.

Don't forget to share what you think might be good because I send merge requests to PLi repos and the rest in pli-extras.

News for mecool devices owners, I was able to get enigma2 work at tuning to frequency and scan by using 32 bit userspace programs (apparrently the avl6862 drivers only work if the program using them (enigma2 in our case) is compiled for armv7(32 bit) and not armv8(64 bit).

You can't compile an image yet since I can't find a way to tell bitbake to compile the whole userspace as armv7 except the kernel recipe as armv8.

also right now enigma2 doesn't function fully it only tunes, and the FE_SET_PROPERTY bad address error is gone, but still I can't find channels.

I do have a file libdreamdvd-1.0-support_sh4.patch in
/media/ubuntu/b6236065-6145-472b-99ba-a50420f28231/openpli-oe-core/pli-extras/meta-fulan/recipes-multimedia/libdreamdvd/libdreamdvd/ibdreamdvd-1.0-support_sh4.patch
and that path is not in the paths that were searched

Any suggestion how to fix this?

Fixed: https://github.com/P...48b4e130c676a72

Wait for a team member to update submodules as I don't have access to my build server right now.
