Here are the test images.

K1 Pro:

K2 Pro (S905):

K1 Plus:

should we transfer the dtb.img file?

The dtb file is included in the kernel.itb file just insert the card and use the toothpick method to load it

It's strange but when we were using linkdroid for compiling,it wasn't booting with the latest gith source files, too.I was using my edited files for booting(which edited from gxbb_p201.dts and edited mesongxbb.dtsi form wetek-amlogic file) and working remote.

my files

Attached File  files.zip   28.26KB   11 downloads

Such problems would be hard to track down without a log, since we already have some people successfully booting on the same device.

Try getting a Uart cable which would make the life a lot easier and would probaby reveal the problem in seconds, and they are very cheap these days(around 5-10$)

If it boots directly into android even after using pin method for enigma2 written sd card, then you need to re-install the android. But if it blinks after mecool logo and then goes blank then there may be problem with the sd card or the image burnt.

if it flashes after the mecool logo and then goes out.I think this is some kind of problem with kernel.itb.if kernel.itb is replaced from the old version, then everything starts.

(1) i have install on 2 sd card openpli image and no boot

(2) openatv boot normally

(3) if replace kernel.itb with openatv kernel.itb openpli image boot normally
Something missing on kernel? I don't know I am at last android firmware 3/2018

Thank you that made everything alot clearer ;)

I see the problem is here:

mount: mounting /dev/mmcblk1p2 on /mnt failed: No such file or directory

It probably can't find /dev/mmcblk1p2 because it might enumerated the device as /dev/mmcblk0p2 , I sometimes encounter this issue because I use a boot manager for my k2pro , so when I boot some distros the external sdcard is named /dev/mmblk1 and other distros is/dev/mmcblk0 .

this can probably be fixed in the dts or udev rule but for now I want to make sure that this is the problem so do the following: when the boot fails at this stage execute this in the terminal

blkid

and post the result

I will work on a fix now
