Hello. I wanted to use the transcoding of my et10k and I upgraded my box with opkg update&&init 3&&opkg upgrade&&opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-transcodingsetup perl-module-pod-simple-transcode && sync && reboot ; exit Which resulted in an usable transcoding which is great (the port don't seems to get set but 8001 is fine) but I can't mount the nfs share on my linux box anymore. Any idea ? Sorry, for an unknown reason I can't edit my text so only copy and paste on one lign... Thanks.

 Hello.

I wanted to use the transcoding of my et10k and I upgraded my box with :

opkg update&&init 3&&opkg upgrade&&opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-transcodingsetup perl-module-pod-simple-transcode && sync && reboot ; exit

Which resulted in an usable transcoding which is great (the port don't seems to get set but 8001 is fine).

But I can't mount the nfs share on my linux box anymore.

I got : " mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.11:/media/media"

Any idea ?

Thanks.

There is a 5 minute timeout to prevent people from changing posts or even deleting them after other people have replied, which kills the context in the thread.

There is no relation between transcoding and NFS, so you have to look elsewhere for the problem. The ET10000 transcodes om 8001 using URL arguments. If you want 8002 as transcoding port you also need to have the streamproxy running. Which should be default on OpenPLi4 . No clue what you want with that perl module, it isn't needed and unrelated.

Every time I presse the "Back key" on this board it deletes all I wrote on this board...

I updated the box which broke my nfs export which was before that working perfectly and I know there is no relation to transcoding.

For the other problem from the web interface I had a perl error before my install and now it works perfectly so the installation of the module which installed some others things fixed it for me.

So any idea on what might have changed related to nfs export ?

No, OpenPLi 4 has been end-of-life for quite a while now, it only gets occasional updates relating to plugins, softcams and channel lists... (see https://github.com/O...mmits/release-4).

Just to be clear, you have installed NFS server on the box, and you export a local storage device? Or you mount a remote storage device (which the error seems to suggest)?

I export my local hard disc from the ET10k to my computer through NFS which worked really well for quiete a long time.

I am aware of the end of life of OpenPLi 4 but according to https://openpli.org/.../xtrend/ET10000 the 6.x builds have bugs in the drivers.

Strange, but anyway thank you very much for all.

Don't know why that won't work anymore. Can you telnet into your box, and check if the NFS server is running properly?

root@hd2400:~# /etc/init.d/nfsserver status
/usr/sbin/rpc.mountd (pid 570) is running...
nfsd (pid 568 567 566 565 564 563 562 561) is running...

root@hd2400:~# /etc/init.d/nfscommon status
/usr/sbin/rpc.statd (pid 543) is running...

root@et10000:~# /etc/init.d/nfsserver status
/usr/sbin/rpc.mountd (pid 478) is running...
nfsd (pid 476 475 474 473 472 471 470 469) is running...

root@et10000:~# /etc/init.d/nfscommon status
/usr/sbin/rpc.statd (pid 439) is running...

And I use the same mount from my linux box, do you know if we could use nfsvers=4 now ?

No, nfsd is version 3, version 4 is not supported.

Oops, I am really really sorry for a reason I have yet to find my computer local IP changed.

Sorry for all the noises and thank you for all your help.
