I have a mkv file that plays fine on PC but won't play at all on the VU+ receiver. When I try to play it it t shows correct time but displays the timeline as if I am already at the end of the video, and then immediately after it quits. I tried it restarting, it didn't help.

My receiver is VU+ Ultimo 4k, it is running OpenPLi 4.0.

Info of the file is provided at the bottom.

Any help is appreciated.

OpenPLi 4.0 is quite old. Better flash a current image. But there is no guarantee, that playback will work afterwards.

I'm not sure that will help, but there's only one way to find out. Since I've been postponing updating for so long I'll just use this as an excuse to do. I'll report back in an hour.

All of the sudden the file became playable! The only thing that comes to my mind is that some program on the PC had exclusive lock on the file, making it inaccessible for VU+ player.
