Still not something we can test and debug, so that doesn't help.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The size doesn't say all, you probably have to do a diff to see if they are different.

Hi,

I would advice to use md5sum to control if the file are the same.

md5sum myfilename1

md5sum myfilename2

And compare if the checksum returned by both commands is the same, then it is the same file.

Hi Pr2

I don't think these files are the cause of the Crashing. Because I've used the files from 6.2 in the (Older) 6.1 image & the receiver doesn't crash.

For now looks like I'll have to stick with Openpli 6.1 on my Vu+Duo2, unless someone can find the fault. As I've mentioned in a previous post, this problem doesn't occur on my Xtrend 8500 using the Openpli 6.2 image. How Strange.

Wizard

Hi Domi76

6.1 will remain as long as I don't software update. The only other solution is to try a different image, which I'm reluctant to do as I always prefer to use Openpli.

Hi Guys,

Yes, I can confirm that the problem is now fixed on my Vu+Duo2. I also have some better news. I also own an old Vu+Duo, I've never been able to run XtremeTv on this receiver. It would constantly crash after installing the XtremeTv plugin, even if I wasn't even using the plugin. I put this down to the age of the receiver, the lack of memory & processing power, etc. Today I have re-flashed it with Openpli 6.2 & Installed the XtremeTv plugin onto it. So far it hasn't missed a beat, it is working perfectly.

Whatever you guys have done to fix the crashing on my Vu+Duo2 as also fixed the problem on my old Vu+Duo. Thanks Team.

Regards

@Wizard1, do you still use Vu+ Duo with OpenPli 6.2? I have a question for you.

I use it with a usb-dtt a867 stick and the system crashes after the boot logo because of the usb dtt. If I boot the duo without the usb stick, it works with no problems.

Do you use any dtt usb tuner on your Vu+ Duo?

Thanks in advence for the reply!
