My box was running 8.1 and i did the online update

Openvpn log :

this is due to upgrade to 2.5.x

looks like you are using a 2.4.x config file therefore pls update file to eg:

data-ciphers AES-128-CBC
cipher AES-128-CBC
auth SHA256
auth-nocache
