I´ve installed now the openpli 7.0rc and have made some tests with 4k recordings. In the past I use openpli 6.1

 

With openpli 6.1 the recordings of 4k movies for example from travel xp 4k works fine and it is possible to cut with cutlisteditor and moviecut those movies.

 

With openpli 7.0rc the recording works also but there is now AP file on the hdd for the movies form 4K channels. Then moviecut doesn´t want to cut the movie.

 

It is also not possible to reconstruct the AP file for 4K movies with the reconstructApSc plugin. But this was also in the past but I had in the past no need to do that because the AP file was created during recording

We'll have to look into that. It might be that the building of ap and sc files doesn't work yet for HEVC streams.

I’m quite sure that I had fixed this in the past. H265 was not supported and I added the needed changes.
Maybe travel xp uses strange format. Did you also test with other free tv 4k channels?

Bur the creation of AP is not the same or?

I will check this today with the 6.1 openpli Version

the travel XP 4k is an encrypted channel with HD+

 

But I´ve tested again with the free channel UHD1 by Astra

 

with openpli 6.1 both channels travel XP4k and UHD1 by Astra create an AP file, but with openpli 7.0rc they don´t

I´ve tested it now with many other HD channels and of recordings have AP/SC Files

 

I´ve tested additionally RTL UHD but similar to UHD1 by Astra and travelxp 4K the recording doesn´t include AP/SC files.

 

With 6.1 it works

I have found the Travel XP 4k service on 23.5E, which happens to be part of my subscription. I made a recording there and indeed it lacks ap and sc files. I am now trying the SES UHD Demo channel and then let's see. There is a chance the code from betacentauri got overwrittend by a conflicting patch, we need to sort that out.

The SES UHD Demo recording is also lacking .ap and .sc files. There is definitely something going on here.

Patch is still applied in rc. I see no errors. Maybe some other patch (like for pmt parsing) "deactivate" it.

But it only affects 4k channels which use h265 codec? Or are normal channels also affected?

No, normal hd channels work fine

Yes indeed, I did a diff of pvrparse.cpp from release-6.2 and rc-7.0 and they're the same.
