But if it works on the same channel with 6.1 then it can’t be a problem with parsing h265.

One perhaps important information to find the difference
The 6.1 version which works fine is an old 6.1 one which I have installed end of 2017

I think it would be interesting if we could find an UHD/HEVC channel that does work, so we can start to spot the differences.
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands

On a 6.2rc image .ap files are created on travelxp 4k. Will check new image later.

6.2 release also creates ap/sc files. 7.0rc don't create both files. Interesting 
. Tested with SES UHD Demo Channel. So it's not the broadcast. Something in E2 broke.
I'll try to debug later.

Good luck, the latest sync between develop and 6.2-release was on May 18th, that means over 500 commits to go through...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Stream types were reordered. But not only this. vtH265_HEVC is now 7. Before it was 6. And the ap/sc code looks for 6 instead of 7.
@athoik: Why did you add the "= 3" for vtVC1?

I now have read the comments under this commit. It already made several problems. I'll create a PR to use streamtype 7 for HEVC/h265....

What box do you run 7.0-rc on? Then I can start an update build for that box, and you can test this fix.

Yes, it uses fix values. And you're like athoik right, it is not really a good practice using fix values. Can't fix it now better as it would take much more time.

Software update should be sufficient, if you have a current image. But if it's your main box you should create a backup before.
