Hi Im using MediaPLicon 8 bit on a DM500 (latest jade) with plicons for Optus C1.

They are stored in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/picon

Nothing displays any ideas?

did you install your picons from the software management?

we changed the way picons are displayed since Jade, see earlier topics and our wiki
so you cant use the old way anymore

ps also check your OSD settings to show picons

Hi folllowed instructions in wiki but I cannot create /etc/enigma/picons

root@dm500 /etc # mkdir enigma
mkdir: Cannot create directory `enigma': Read-only file system
root@dm500 /etc # cd enigma
cd: 13: can't cd to enigma
root@dm500 /etc #

Option to display picons is turned on in the menu and the picons are copied manually as the Optus C1 icons do not appear in the download menu..

Any suggestions? I will try and install a different skin...

Hi all

You have to install Plicons from Addons --> Software Management , the picons install here :

/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/picon

But with Pli Jade , Plicons work with Symlinks also the .png files.

Is need that you install Picons on flash from Pli Server Addons.

Unfortunatly the Austar and Foxtel Pli Icons on Optus C1 156E are not available on the Addon server..
maybe a future update moderators ??

If you are a member of Austech at all, there is a discussion and detailed explanation to what needs to be done for your satellites down there. When all that is done, they will appear in the Plicons downloads

I am a premium member there... but i stil cant find the answer , is it the fact that lingsat hasnt got the NID and SID data ? how can we fix that ?

telnet to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma then vi userbouquet.xxxx.tv and see the setting inside
eg.
#SERVICE: 1:0:1:28:13:1:0:0:0:0:
#SERVICE: 1:0:1:29:4:1:0:0:0:0:
#SERVICE: 1:0:1:2a:13:1:0:0:0:0
#SERVICE: 1:0:1:48:9:1:ffff024a:0:0:0:

then the plicon will be as follow
1_0_1_28_13_1_0_0_0_0.ong
1_0_1_29_4_1_0_0_0_0.png
1_0_1_2A_13_1_0_0_0_0.png
1_0_1_48_9_1_FFFF024A_0_0_0.png

All hex must be in uppercase
